Good business starts from dreams.

Farrel Tedder and Rich Urquhart, both long-time machine builders, had big dreams. Fate brought the two men together to finally put their dreams into reality. The result: Iron Horse Distributions, LLC, formed in 2009.

But their partnership has a longer history. Farrel, well-established in the business world, and Rich, a manufacturer and salesmen of machines at his own location, combined to form an alliance in 2002 and in 2004 opened Farrhart Inc, before eventually forming the new company.

With more than 35 years of combined experience in the manufacturing of custom machinery and automation, their wide range of experience has allowed them to provide customers with proven techniques and solutions.

The business grew successfully, and soon they needed to reinvent their business. In 2009, forming Iron Horse Distributions was their solution to their problem. This platform not only widened their automation and machine building abilities, but increased the company business model into manufactured goods.

Expansion into manufactured goods was needed to help address the ever growing-requests for help in appropriating products and consulting information in their fields of knowledge.

After much consideration Farrel and Rich purchased and began operation as Iron Horse Distributions. A key relationship between Farrel and Rich had formed over the past years with Mr. Mike Stiles. His extensive world-class financial background presented Iron Horse with a significant pool of information to help manage new and challenging opportunities. Mr. Stiles's background along with Farrel and Rich's management and the automation knowledge will help secure Iron Horse Distributions position as a customer oriented company into the future.
